JAKARTA - INDONESIA'S largest Islamic organisation on Monday condemned protests by hardline groups against US President Barack Obama's planned visit to the mainly Muslim country.
Nahdlatul Ulama deputy chairman Maskuri Abdillah said the visit would strengthen frayed ties between the United States and the Muslim world.
'We call on all Muslims in Indonesia not to join any protest rejecting the visit of President Obama to Indonesia,' he told AFP. 'This call has been made following our concerns about a number of protests by some Muslim groups who stand against the visit. We must welcome Mr Obama as his visit will be positive in terms of the US relationship with the Muslim world.'
Thousands of demonstrators from radical Muslim group Hizbut Tahrir, which aims to establish an Islamic caliphate, rallied against Mr Obama on Sunday, tearing US flags and calling America a terrorist state. Such groups have little support in Indonesia, the world's most populous Muslim-majority country where Mr Obama lived for four years as a child.
He is scheduled to leave the United States on March 21 for the trip, which will include stops in Guam and Australia.
The visit is expected to build on a speech Obama gave last year in Cairo, in which he promised to mend fences with the Islamic world after years of discord under the previous administration of George W. Bush. 'Mr Obama has a different personality to his predecessor George Bush. Mr Obama has the political will to improve US ties with the Muslim world,' Mr Abdillah said. -- AFP
MY VIEWS:
Being an American president under the previous administration of George W. Bush, Mr Obama has to deal with a lot of nuisances which were remained by Mr Bush’s disapproving political career and one of the troublesome problems is the stiff relationship with Muslim world.
I am agree with Nahdlatul Ulama deputy chairman Maskuri Abdillah’s opinion. It’s important to hold a friendly and welcome attitude to the new American president because a steady and healthy relationship between two countries should not be found by a single member as it is the effort by both of their cooperation.
Besides, there are also many advantages would have been taken if the citizens in Indonesia could stop protesting the visit and remain silent. As a result, Indonesia government would earn many profits from America if they would connect cooperation in military and economy because the truth is that America is the strongest nation around the world nowadays.
I believe the clever government there will soon take actions to stop the protest activities and protect the visit of American supreme power.

Technology
With the developement of technology nowadays, our society is becoming more and more advanced and convenient. As for me, I find out that Internet plays an important role in my ordinary life.Especially after I have come to Singapore,I have to use Internet to finish my homework and contact with my parents, relatives and chinese friends which seemed not possible in China as our school didn't allow us to surf the internet too often.
To explain the importances of Internet for me,I think it should be neccesary to date back to my school life in China. Our teachers there were very strict about your consumption on computer because we had to face many challenging and furious competitions in our school. As a result,we don't have enough time to do something such as playing games or watching videos and our timetable is usually fully arranged on weekends. However,it doesn't mean that Chinese students never touch the Internet.Actually we do but the events we spend time on are quite different to distinct students.
For instance,hard-working students search study information, check e-mail and read news through internet and usually entertain themselves by listening to music, watching original English movies and sometimes manage their blogs recording their emotion. The lazy ones used to play games and waste much time in chat room.Indeed, I am not opposed to playing games or chatting with friends but I think it's not approving to spend too much time on them as they are both harmful to your eyes and plays no benefit to people.
Now my life in Singapore seems to be essential to be with a laptop all the time. There are so many events have shown that I cannot do without it.Can you give me any other means to check my e-mail,to set up my blogs,to fill in my webwork,to communicate with my fellows in China and do something without any limitation? No one can find out an answer apart from the Internet!
However, the most troublesome and irritating truth for me with my laptop is that I am bound in many aspects even through the omnipotent Internet. Our boarding school's connect speed is so slow because of the large usage there;my two sony laptops still seem alien to me;one laptop cannot make any sound due to some mysterious unknown reasons, another one's screen is too small to see;when I use the Internet,it is so unstable and my laptops awalys fall in the CRASH.
That's so irritating and unbelievable that I even cannot help to consider to shred them!!!
As I told my parents the present situation I am facing but the only affairs they could do were sighing and consoling me that I would return soon and my laptops could be sent to fix in June.
Shit!!! My amusing struggle in Internet ……

Self Introduction 2
Sometimes it’s really queer for me that loving something odd and strange. This is a kind of peculiar hobbies of mine. I enjoy imagination and associate that what would the future become. It’s really amusing and unbelievable right? However, it doesn’t mean that I am a day dreamer or old-fashion people at all. I just like thinking and cheering myself up when I get close to nature.
People always say that if one likes imagine means that he or she is still not grown-up and innocently simple and childish.
But on another hand, they haven’t denied that it is a beneficial way. Sometimes, it’s important for us to be full of imagination and whimsical thoughts because it would become easy to get out of trouble and sorrow. Indeed, this is the real reason that why adults always envy their children, not only because they are still young but also because of their happy and hopeful natures.
Besides, that may be the way the world acts colorful!

Self Introduction
Travel appears a fascinating thing for me all the time. There is a famous and classical motto says that touring thousands miles of distance can be more important than reading thousands books. I constantly believe it firmly and I really pay action at this determination with my family.
Looking back about the experiences I have got, these really can be written as a history book. To be frank with you, I have been about 8 provinces in China and I have also been abroad as Egypt, Turkey, Thailand, and Indonesia and so on. However, my goal will be farther as I’m now curious about America, India, Greece and South Africa.
There is going to be one day that I can tour around the world and even the universe~!

Photo Description 2
This is another picture of the plain in Inner Mongolia last October. The differences are this was the one that was taken in a more natural grass and it was on the way back to the airport. Although you can see me smiled happily in the photo, however, the sentiment for the end of the holiday could overweight happiness. I was picking flowers in the grass and I can still remember the long grass there that could cover my knees. Do you notice the isolated road there that stretched to the sky? I think it’s really wonderful and legendary for people to associate that what the sceneries were backward the end of the road~
Photo Description
This is a photograph that I took in the plain from the Inner Mongolia (a province of China). My parents and I went there with some other friends in October last year. That’s a really amazing and ideal place for us to escape the stress of city life and get close to nature. Upon the time when we arrived at the plain, I was so eager to pounce to the grass because I was really expected to ride on a horse again---my last time riding a horse was in Xingjiang and the feelings were so relaxing and majestic. However, I was rejected by my parents immediately due to the fact that the horses there were too natural-mannered and it’s not safe for a ‘children’ like me to ride on. So it might be the most disappointing thing at that moment.
However, my attention was soon being attracted by so many new things there. I went to take on a herdsman’s carriage with my friends and took a long video all the way. I still cannot forget the enjoyable sense of being blew by the breeze on the endless plain and smelling the comfortable air which contained the flowers’ and fresh soil’s.
Looking at me in the pictures, was I appeared so fascinated?
